| I Would Describe Myself As | As a fitness trainer, I'm expected to stay in shape as a sign that I practice what I preach; but I'm in no way obsessed with a certain look or body ideal. I stay active through working out, playing with other people's dogs in the park (they're the easiest to upkeep!), surfing whenever I can, playing volleyball, and occassionally playing a game of football or softball. Although I love sports, I'm not a fanatic: I'll watch football on Sunday, but would NEVER do so in place of spending time with my girl, unless that's what she wants to do. I LOVE animals and could never date someone that would enjoy hunting, especially poor little deer with big marbly twinkling black eyes; and yet, I love sportsdiving and fishing (Always catch-and-release, though!!). I also love nature and enjoy walking in the park and stargazing. I appreciate all creative arts and can spend hours at galleries, museums, and the theater... Like everyone else, I'm in pursuit of the Happy Life. That pursuit serves as the core of my daily dilemma: Time Management. I hope to advance my education by pursuing advanced degrees in Kiniseology, but time to do so seems so elusive! (Does anyone have any extra time I can borrow?!?). I'm also in the process of launching a fitness-oriented web service by the end of this year; but again, if only I had 28 hours in a day!! Despite my war with time, I stay focused on my goal to help improve lives through fitness and healthy living... I'm highly ambitious, hardworking, and goal-oriented. Life's too short to spend time THINKING about all the things we wish we had done, so I like to DO! I believe it was Seneca whom said it best: "Dance as if no one can see you; sing as if no one else can hear you; love as if you've never felt hatred; and live as if heaven were right here on Earth." And so I'm also very spontaneous and adventurous, and would like to meet someone that's not afraid to toe the line every once in a while, whether that be a trip to A.C. or skydiving... I am fit and do appreciate a fit body, but I'm not attracted to any specific "type" of person; chemical reactions just occur and I go along for the ride. I feel that there's no better combination than to have a great sense of humor, confidence in yourself and your decisions, and an adventurous heart. Blend that in with compassion and appreciation of yourself snd others and you probably have me wrapped around your finger... Nor do I prefer any particular "type" of music as my mood shapes my musical preferences; one day I may love Otis Redding, but the next I'll listen to nothing other than Disturbed... |
